  1. Aun and Mohammed were the Sons of Bibi Zainab and H Abdullah ibne Jaffer e Tayyar

  2. Aun and Muhammed were the nephews of Imam Hussein. They did not leave Madina with Imam Hussein (as) but joined their caravan in Mecca

  3. Aun and Mohammed were about 13 and 11 years old. They wanted to be brave soldiers of Islam. After all, their grandfather was Imam Ali (as), Ameeral Mo’meneen

  4. Their Uncle Hazrat Abbas (as) had taught them the art of fencing, and they wanted their family to be proud of their dedication to Islam

  5. When Umar e Sa’ad, Chief of the Enemy soldiers saw the two boys were very skilful in one-to-one combat, he ordered his soldiers to attack them from all sides.

  6. Imam Hussein (As) and Hazrat Abbas carried the bodies to the ladies tent. Bibi Zainab immediately went into sajdah to thank Allah for being able to sacrifice her sons for Islam
