  6. Friday Morning – September 2 • Friday morning the trailer is thankfully still in place, almost. It was pushed forward, then rolled back; now slightly off center and trapping a hose. Water -and seaweed - did get inside. • The drying rack parallel to the beach is gone. The top rail was near the flag pole in Joeann's yard. • The picnic table next to the wind garden is undermined and listing. Evidence of early Shell Point structures are further revealed. The wind garden stood strong. • The flag pole saw some wave action washing a river of sand elsewhere. • Further west, the large Pavillion lost even more beachfront as did the cedar tree. No obvious damage but important support now gone.
