  2. New Enterprise Portals Microsoft Sharepoint web based portal is the technology Information Technology Services and Miami-Dade County Public Schools is using to satisfy the objectives of ensuring the highest quality of education for our students.

  3. PARENT PORTAL • A tool to help you effectively and consistently keep track and view information on your children's progress in the classroom through one communication channel. • This portal will assist you in participating more actively in order to influence your child’s achievement.

  4. PARENT PORTAL How Do You Access The Parent Portal? • Obtain your 6 digit Parent Identification Number and Student I.D. Number for each child By visiting your child’s school • Create a parent account, login to: www.dadeschools.net Select Parent Tab – click on Parent Portal • It is recommended (after 24 hrs) to reset your password with password management P-Synch • Login to– Parent Portal

Grades When monitoring your children’s grades: • Talk with your children about the grades they have earned. • Praise their efforts and accomplishments. • If grades indicate your children are struggling in a subject area, discuss with your children what they need to improve. • Communicate with the teacher or counselor.
