Funds’ CSR Policy (statement) • For Funds and for projects in cooperation with partners. • Values and procedures also after Funds’ exit. • Comply with host country’s regulations, but benchmark critical areas against Danish or international standards. • Values from basic set of international conventions – 10 Global Compact Principles. • Transparency, accountability and information – funds and projects.

  5. CSR Guidelines & Procedures/Prestart • 1. Active cooperation with responsible partners. • 2. Benchmarking local regulations against Danish or international standards – identifying critical risks and impacts – HRCA/Quick-check. • 3. Use experienced DK partners CSR policies – to focus on less experienced partners.

  6. CSR Guidelines & Procedures/Operation • 1. Best Judgement Declaration from DK partners – joint CSR actionplan for improvements – and annual CSR status reports (at post-investment stage). • 2. Project companies establish own CSR policy to secure follow-up also after Funds’ exit. • 3. Specific: HIV/AIDS, animal welfare, big scale pig farms.
