  2. Characters • Evalyn- 17 years old ~ Caden- 18 years old and is Evalyns best friend ~ Damien- 18 years old—obsessed ~ With Evalyn • David- Evalyns Dad ~

  3. *Problem • Damien become obsessed over Evalyn every since she helped him on the play ground when they were younger. Everyone picked on Damien when they were younger. He told them his father beats him every night but they promised they wouldn’t tell. • As they got older he started following Evalyn. He would hurt her and tell her she would love him one day

  4. Summary Caden tries to keep Evalyn safe. Damien kills her mother because she told him not to be around her. Damien tries hurting anyone who gets in his way. Evalyn was starting to fall in love with Caden and Damien knew. So Damien tried his best to kill Caden. He kidnapped Caden for months.

  5. Summary • Damien had taken Caden to a house in the woods that he had once lived in. He hung Caden from a wall in the basement and beat him. Damien told him if he couldn’t have Evalyn then no one could. • Damien had a plan that he would fix the house up for Evalyn and go take her away from her dad and thatshed live there with him. So he gets Evalyn and takes her to his house. He locks her up in the top floor of the house. Theres no way she can get out. She decides that the only chance of her getting out is by being nice to him • Months went by and Damien was going to the store and he told her he trusts her thatshecan look at all of the house whilehes gone so he lets her out of the room.

  6. Summary • Evalyn hears a noise from the bottom of the house. She opens the door and sees Caden Hanging there. She tries to help him. Damien walks in mad. She tells him the only way for her to love him was for him to let Caden go. So he does. • Caden goes to her dads house to get him and the police. • Evalyn has the chance of running out of the house so she runs. Damien realizes she will never love him. So he sets the house of fire trying to kill himself.

  7. Summary • When Evalyn Starts to run out of the house she sees Caden and her father running to her. • She sees the smoke and starts running back toward the burning house to Damien.

  8. Resolution • Her father and Caden watch as see runs into the burning house. • Damien and Evalyn both die in the fire. • Caden and her father can never figure out why she would die for someone who beat her and made her life horrible.
