  1. The Maya Indians You could say that they were ahead of their time. But let’s take a closer look at their average life.

  2. Mayan Culture Maya had a big civilization. Some of the people worshiped the town because they were grateful.

  3. Mayan Tools • They used, arrowheads, macro blades, and knapped celts to hunt. • They were skilled hunters. • They never got hungry during winter.

  4. Food • They use to eat: Tortillas, a multiple amount of different beans, different soups they cook over fires, fish, they use cacao beans to make chocolate that they drank, they eat Maize, avocado, tomatoes, corn, and yucca.

  5. Mayan Art • The art of the Mayans. as any other civizilazation, is a reflection of their lifestyle. • The art was composed of delineation and painting upon paper and plaster. • Carvings in wood and stone.

  6. Language • The Mayan spoke Yucateco and Yucatetcen. • Their language was very unique and creative. • It was very hard to learn.

  7. Location • They lived in Southeastern Mexico. • Most of them lived in Chichen Itza. • In Chichen Itza there is a ball court that people in Maya love to play on.

  8. Toys • Their toys were mostly animals. • Most of them had wheels! • They had very unique toys.

  9. Contributions • They made a hard to learn writing system. • Their historyis very interesting. • The jaguar is their symbol of power.
