  6. Implementation Grant, Step 2 Summary • $150 Million funding for this round. • 16 applications invited back for Step 2. • $25 Million per award for this round. • Step 2 is treated as a separate solicitation • No carry over of ranking • In FAAST – not a call back

  7. Review Process • Eligibility Review • Technical Review • Independent reviews by at least 3 reviewers • Initial scores established • Consensus Review • Consensus among technical reviewers • Single review, scores and supporting comments

  8. Review Process • Senior review • Consistent application of criteria and scoring • Resolve any non-consensus • Selection Panel • Consistency amongst reviews • Consistency against criteria • Preliminary funding recommendations to • DWR Director • The State Water Board

  13. What to Submit Complete application consists of: • Online application with attachments • includes IRWM Plan or FED • 3 hard copies of the application • 3 hard copies of the most recent plans & specifications • CD of all applicable references

  14. What to Submit Label hard copies and CD’s with: • “IRWMP Implementation Grant, Step 2” • PIN (from FAAST) • Applicant name • Proposal Title

  15. Deadline for Submittal • All portions of the application must be received by 5:00 pm June 8, 2006 • Allow time for delivery of hard copy/CD • Do not change electronic attachments after hard copies are shipped
