  5. Surrealism • Artist of this movement have paintings that seem dream like in quality – confused images. There is an element of surprize – the unexpected. They go beyond the real world to create looks that are not typical – not real. They simply take the ordinary and make it strange. • Other well known artist are : • Joan Miro

  7. Try your hand… • Try your hand are making the ordinary strange. The teacher will hand you a folder paper with the start of a locker on one side. Add details and color to make it look like your everyday ordinary locker. • Now “open” the locker. On the inside let your dream like strange imagination take hold. What would be the most unusual thing to open up your locker and find ? A huge fish bowl ? A giant gum ball machine ?
