  2. The use of SUPERLATIVE FORMS We often compare different objects, or people. Sometimes we can say a person or object is the maximum exponent at something. In these expressions we use superlative forms. 2m20 TALL EST. Pau Gasol is the One syllable adjective Pau Gasol Magic Jerez Raul + EST 1m84 1m80

  3. Two syllable adjective, ending in -Y Pretty Heidi Penelope Cruz is prettier than Heidi. Heidi is pretty Elsa Pataky !!!!!!!!! PRETT i EST. Elsa Pataky is the Two syllable adjective, ending in -Y + iEST

  4. Most other Two syllable adjectives (not ending in –Y) Maths is boring Boring English With Alex Jerez !!! English is more boring than Maths. The MOST + adjective Catalan !!!!!! Catalan is the MOST Boring subject at school

  5. LONG ADJECTIVES: 3 or + syllable adjectives Beautiful, interesting ... Newspapers are interesting !!! Magazines MORE + adjective interesting Magazines are MORE than newspapers

  6. Some exceptions...!! Common, clever, gentle, hollow, unhappy.... The Adjective + –EST/iEST The Most+ adjective Spelling mistakes are the most common errors in texts. Spelling mistakes are the commonest(?) errors in texts. Mr.Casanova is the most gentle person I know. Mr.Casanova is the gentlest person I know.
