Enterprise Europe Network - structure • Enterprise Europe Network - February 2008 Main goal: To unite SMEs potential in efficient and organized way, and to help them in their presence on single European market. To create synergy with the academic organizations in cooperation for development, research and transfer of technology and innovation. • EIC– Euro Info Centers • - Founded in 1987 • 300 centers in 45 countries • Main Goal –Direct Contact with European Commission, easier access to information on European issues and their dissemination to SMEs. • IRC – Innovation Relay Centers • - Founded by EC in 1995 • - 71Center in the EU countries, Norway, Swiss, Turkey, Israel, Chile • More than 240 members in 33 countries • Main goal– Transfer of knowledge and technologies

EIICM – field of work MODULE A: Information – Former Euro Info Center in Macedonia SMEs in Macedonia can access information on regulations, Directives, Standards and other business conditions and opportunities in Euro Zone and in all other countries where Enterprise Europe Network is present. They can access information on conditions and manners of financing of common international projects. Through the network they can obtain strong support in their internationalization and they can establish international business contacts. MODULE B: Innovation – FormerIRC center for technology transfer SMEs in Macedonia can be supported in technology cooperation. By this way, many ideas for innovation can be established. Through Enterprise Europe Network, scientific and research centers can exchange results from research. SMEs can have access to innovative technologies. Many innovative ideas of our researchers and license agreements can be established by this way. MODULE C: Research and Development By this module close cooperation between business and academic community can be established. SMEs together with the universities can found international partnership in the field of science and scientific research. Universities can establish international partnership with other research institutions. SMEs will be encouraged in such activities.

EIICM –TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION (MODULE B) • Foundation of Management and Industrial Research (SINTEF) – carrier • University Ss Cyril and Methodius • Agency for promotion of entrepreneurship in Macedonia • Helps SMEs in indentifying potential commercial international partnership • Helps SMEs to develop new product and new markets • Advices small business on technical issues as intellectual property rights • Organizes brokerage events related with technology and innovation- Promotes innovation • BBS system for exchange of technology and innovation

EIICM – RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT (MODULE C) • University Ss Cyril and Methodius (carrier) • Foundation of Management and Industrial Research • Agency for promotion of entrepreneurship in Macedonia • Members of Enterprise Europe Networkare Universities and research centers, University Associations, networks of Innovation Centers • Through direct communication in the network, there can be established partnership for research cooperation on bilateral and multilateral basis • Cooperates with the NCPs for FP7 • Is involved and organizes events for R&D cooperation • Is involved in Sector Groups for specific thematic field
