  5. What are these Victory bonds? • To raise money, Canada issued Victory Bonds. These bonds would help pay for the war. • After the war they could cash in their bonds and get their money back with interest. • Along with the Victory Bonds some new taxes were introduce to help pay for the war. • The Corporate tax • Income Tax *Both are still paid today
