Need for change? • Increasing older population in Renfrewshire • Significant demand for suitable housing • No existing provision of housing with lower levels of support - preventative focus - in Linwood • Tenants’ views – let to over 60’s, provide handyman service, increased safety, security and concierge • Lack of social space for residents
