  3. Heinz Field • Heinz field is the stadium where the famous Pittsburgh Steelers and university of Pittsburgh team Pittsburgh panthers play football. This stadium was built in 1991 and was finished in late 2001. This stadium also holds about 65,500 people. The amount to attend a single game for the Steelers ranges from $85-$200 a ticket.   4. Carnegie Science Center • The Carnegie science center is a fun and hands on interactive museum for the whole family! The science center is located just next door to Heinz field. This science center opened its doors in 1991. This science center has four floors of hands on activities and entertainment including a tour in a WWII submarine.   6. The Children’s Museum • This museum is so much fun for the family especially the children! This museum is full of hands on exhibits and features traveling exhibits as well! For the month of September a main exhibit featured is the ball room. This museum also features a water room where you and the family get a chance to play in a room filled with water where you get to experience vortex, dam building, and even a magnetic water wall!   7. Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium • The Pittsburgh zoo is one of the MUST visit places while in Pittsburgh. The zoo has over 1,000 animals and 400 species including some endangered species. The Pittsburgh zoo also has overnight stays in the zoo where you get to have a sleep over in the reptile exhibit along with a night tour of the zoo. The zoo also is split into seven areas which include: African Sahara, Asian forest, kid’s kingdom, bears, PPG aquarium, tropical forest and water’s edge! This building also has a fine dining restraint located in it that accommodates about 250 guests along with private luxury suites which include four oversized party suites for additional entertainment purposes.
