  4. Goals of the IGA • Identify and Define Plan Responsibilities • Cost Sharing • Planning • Analysis • Preparation • Initial Term – Five (5) Years or Completion • Consultant – Detailed Design

  5. Partner Responsibilities Avondale - Lead Administration Buckeye – Project Oversight and Administration All Others – Various Responsibilities

  6. All Participating Partners Develop Goals and Objectives Identify and Develop Projects Develop Cost Estimates Promote Public Awareness Identify Sources of Funding Inventory and Resource Management Pay All Invoices Within 30 Days Provide Comments/Input as Required

  7. Lead Administrative Agency - Avondale Contract Administration Plan Payments Include Partners Consultant Selection Scoping Plan Meetings and Information Gathering

  8. Lead Oversight and Coordinating Agency - Buckeye Oversight and Coordination of Consultant Services Public Input As Required Monthly Progress Reports Plan Submittals Include Partners in Project Management

  9. Potential Growth Opportunities Promote Awareness Interpretive Trails and Overlooks Signs and Way Finding Funding Sources Inventory and Resource Management Local, State, and Federal Coordination

  10. Budgetary Impacts Plan Cost – Not to Exceed $200,000 1/4 Equal Shares / $50,000 Each Appropriation Transfer Required Staff Request: Approval of $200,000 Appropriations Transfer From Project 320-1046-Improvement District-Unformed.

  11. Recommendation Approve Transfer of Funds Adopt Resolution • Authorizing IGA Between Maricopa County (Flood Control), Town of Buckeye, and City of Goodyear • El Rio Watercourse Implementation and Management Plan
