  2. Introduction Have you ever wondered what exactly the WebQuest is? Well, it is a modern method of working with pupils which uses information technology. The main purpose of this method is to show a new way of increasing the knowledge using elements of working in groups. It is supported by ideas of creating or building one’s knowledge being backed up by sources of Internet. Do you recognize a mysterious man pictured in the photo on the left ? <thinks>….. YES! This is Bernie Dodge. The main creator of WebQuest.

  3. Task • To know excatly the mysteries of creating WebQuests , you will have to look through some sample WebQuests.   4. After reading our WebQuest carefully, you will have to prepare your own one mentioning one from the topics written below: • The medieval architecture • The literature of Renaissance • Polish medals on Winter Olympic Games

Process • You will have to divide in two groups: • a group of historians whose main task will be to find and present some information about Bernie Dodge and Tom March and information how the idea of WebQuest was born. ( in form of a report or a short, exhaustive presenation) • a group of explorers which after reading some sample WebQuests should characterize each part of it and write some useful hints about pieces of each part: • INTRODUCTION • Main topic of the WebQuest. • The possibly big interest of a task. • TASK • Short description of results • Making a project of a task • Different types of tasks

  7. Conclusion Creating WebQuests is more frequently used nowadays but it is not as simple as it might seem. Thanks to our WebQuest, you will be able to find and use in practice all essential hints connected with making WebQuests. We hope that you will quickly enjoy this new form of teaching and you will use it much more often and persuade others to its uniqueness.
