  2. Introduction I picked the tapir because I didn’t know what it was. Now I know that tapir are really interesting. Now tapir are one of my favorite animals!

  3. Habitat Tapir live in forests, and on mountains.

  4. Physical description Tapir have thick necks, and are short and heavy. It’s nose is like a pig’s, but much longer. Each front and back back feet have three toes. It’s tail is short.

  5. Baby tapir Baby tapirs have white stripes. The mother( cow ) tapir have one calf at a time.

  6. Diet Tapirs are herbivores. They eat: leafs, twigs, branches, buds, shoots, berries, fruits and aquatic plants.

  7. Behavior Tapir are shy, and spend most of their time finding food. I don’t blame them for being protective, because they’re hunted by humans!

  8. Fun Facts Tapir like to swim. The mail is a buck, a female is a cow, and the baby is a calf.

  9. Summary I think tapir are interesting after doing this report, I learned that tapir are interesting, and I hope you think so to!
