What We Do The activities of the Office of External Affairs include providing counsel and technical support in areas of: • public relations • news stories • event promotion • media advisories • publications and other creative services • assistance with Web content and design • marketing video productions • print materials • advertising creative • marketing communications coordination • advertising campaign development • creating and maintaining a brand identification for Stockton College The EA Web site provides more details

  3. What We’ve Accomplished…in a few short months Built the internal organization. Built internal support for the External Affairs function (anongoing process…). Launched a Web site, PR request tool, working on campaigns, etc. Created an inventory of print and online publications. Located a Web re-design agency.

We’re Moving In on… Our six-month goals • Increase positive media in area by 25% over the same time period in 2008. • Begin Web redesign— coming soon! • Establish processes for graphics, print, photo, video, Web and press services. • online method for user request • style guidelines (copy manual) • develop standards (ad, graphics, etc.) • consider marketing/ad agencies • green and sustainable as possible

  5. Where We’ll Be…on our first birthday Positive media presence increased by 25% regionally. New Web presence and standards in place. Ready to begin formal branding plan. Ready and able to evaluate and refine publications, media relations, and community liaison strategies.
