  2. On the 26th October 2011Sydney Institute moved to e-Recruitment, Jobs.NSW, a single online system across all NSW Government agencies. This system has been progressively implemented and the 10 TAFE will be using this site from this date.

  3. What does this mean for you? There will be no changes for convenors and panel members until 2012 The HR/recruitment staff in Building A at Ultimo will no longer be able to accept paper applications, or applications emailed or hand delivered to them Positions will still be advertised in the Gazette but If you are applying, you will need to download the information pack and upload your application via the Jobs.NSW site Sydney Institute’s EOIs will still be accessed via a link on SydNet.

  4. What do I need to do to apply for a job after 26 October? • There are three steps to completing this process • Register yourself with Jobs.NSW – it takes 2 minutes and you only need to do this once • Create a Profile • Search for the job you are applying for, using the job number in the Gazette and download the information pack • Upload your application and supporting documentation via Jobs.NSW

  5. What support is available if I need it? • “How to” sessions will be held at all locations across the Institute commencing 26 October and finishing 3 November. These will be practical sessions about searching for a particular job, downloading the information pack and uploading an application. A timetable for these sessions will be made available to you • Links to Jobs.NSW, JobsTAFEWide, and Sydney Institute EOIs are available on SydNet • A Hot Topic session will be held on Wednesday 2 November – notification will be by all users email.
