LOCATION Honduras is a country in Central America (a strip of land that connects North America and South America, usually considered to be part of the North American continent). It's bordered by Guatemala, El Salvador, Nicaragua, the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean sea (part of the Atlantic Ocean).

FLAG OF HONDURAS The Honduras Flag indicates the overall background is sky blue and white The Honduras Flag is described as follows: Three equal horizontal bands of blue (top), white, and blue with five blue, five-pointed stars arranged in an 'X' pattern centered in the white band The stars represent the members of the former Federal Republic of Central America - Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Honduras, and Nicaragua According to Ancient and Heraldic traditions much symbolism is associated with colors. The colors on the Honduras flag represent the following: White - peace and honesty Blue - the sea and the sky  - vigilance, truth and loyalty, perseverance & justice

  5. LANGUAGE Spanish is the official language of Honduras. English is spoken in the Bay Islands and in most tourist areas. Traditional native languages are still used in some more remote areas of the country such as Olancho and the Mosquitia.
