  2. H.A.L operations • A robotic suit that is worn as an exoskeleton and can be used to help disabled people walk again • A robot suit HAL has been developed as an assistive device for lower limbs. Human can appropriately produce muscle movement and control joint movement by muscle effort. • HAL, which stands for Hybrid Assisted Limb, responds to signals detected on the wearer's skin that are sent to the muscles which makes the robotic limbs move • It imitates the regular movements in the limbs of a human body

  3. H.A.L usage • The HAL is used on the body limb or limbs that are disabled • The movement of the HAL is based on the joints in the human body

  4. Ways to use the HAL • The HAL is able to only move the regular body parts but not pick up or move stuff

  5. Tasks • It cannot be taught to preform any task that the user does not know how to do.

  6. Sensors • The sensors in the suit whether on the lower body or full body the suits sensors are placed on parts of the body where brain signals are able to be found. • These signals are used to control the robots functions

  7. Advantages/ disadvantages • Advantage: it helps disabled people move • Disadvantage: expensive

  8. Impact • The impact on the disabled could be huge since they cant move and with the help of this suit they can move

  9. Jobs • This suit can create many job opportunities for the disabled or injured

  10. Alterations • This robot could be modified into a full body suit. • There could be a voice box for the ones who cant talk. • Easier way to charge battery
