  7. 1948 - “Friendlyrelations” betweenmember countries • “Association Internationale des Étudiantsen Sciences Economiques et Commerciales” • 1949 -Exchange was defined as the core activity of the organization - 89 students - StockholmCongress • 1961 - Seminars (as part of trainees' reception experiences) – Economy - non-politicalorganization • 1974 -  Exchange traineeship had to be 6 weeks - Improved quality.

  8. 1976- InternationalThemeProgramme - focus of the organization was global themes (International Trade, Management Education, Sustainable development, Entrepreneurship and Corporate Responsibility ) • In the 90’s: Relevance of Exchange Program – again! Maintopic! • Nowadays…

  9. AIESEC is the international platform for young people to explore and develop their leadership potential.
