  2. 2010 Secondary Education Curriculum • 6,477 out of 6,527 targetted Second Year Teachers have completed the training Special Program in Foreign Language • Teachers were trained: Spanish = 4 Chinese = 2 French = 10 Japanese = 4 • Annual Enhancement Training for 3 summers • Joint Implementation Review by the Embassy, Central and Regional Offices • Monthly follow-through trainings • Outcomes: • Students can communicate the basic foreign language they have enrolled, with enthusiasm • 1 teacher was sent to France for almost a month and have greatly improved her fluency

Other Special Program Implementers • SPJ – 1 (Cebu City National Science HS) • SPA – 1 (CecilioPutong NHS) • SPS – 1 (Abellana National School) • ESEP – Type A: 10 schools – Type B: 33 out of 40 schools are actually implementing • TVEP – 15 (Nationally recognized) – 10 (Regionally recognized) TechVoc Training (UBD) • 32 out of 45 targetted participants have completed the training (due to lateuploading of the RegionalMemorandum) Contextualization • 45 out of 45 targetted participants have completed the training • Output: finalizedImplementation plan

Eco-Friendly Program • Finalized the screening and declared the following winners based on completeness of credentials following the criteria set • Elementary 1st Place: Simeon Ayuda ES, Cebu Province • Secondary 1st: San Jose Recolletos HS Dept., Cebu City 2nd: Malingin NHS, Cebu Province 3rd: Caleriohan NHS, Cebu Province • Tertiary 1st: St. Paul University, Dumaguete City 2nd: Mater Dei College, Bohol Nursery Management Training • various skills and techniques on nursery management were introduced in creating a functional nursery • crafted criteria on the selection of functional nursery

VECO Supplementary Materials • 9 out of 25 SMs have been printed and reproduced in 50 copies each in preparation for the pilot testing APPES • Ongoing preparation of the master list of school heads and teachers to be reflected in the bronze markers for Level I Accreditation • 90.48% accomplished

  7. MTB - MLE • Feedback was gathered from the pilot implementers . These are the ff: • teachers find the use of the MTB-MLE very useful • Pupils are very participative • most of them have learned to read as early as July • Pupils enjoy during learning experiences • Although teachers find it tiresome preparing the IMs Referrals • 100% of the referrals have been addressed acted upon such as: • Preparation of Regional Memorandum • Giving comments and recommendations • Attendance in meetings, conferences, assemblies, etc.

  8. Consultative Conference-Workshop of All Division Supervisors/Coordinators and District/Municpality Focal Persons in All Subject Areas • August 8 – 12, 2011 • It aims to identify the cause/s of the low performance in the different learning areas in the different divisions and plan for appropriate interventions and action steps to address such gaps • At the end of the workshop, the participants are expected to: • analyze and interpret the results of the 2010-2011 Regional Achievement Test; • identify the least learned skills in each learning area in every division/district; and • prepare a plan of action for appropriate interventions to address these gaps.
