Spring 2015 STAAR • Grades 3-8 will assess revised TEKS • Grades 3-8 will receive initial raw score • Summer 2015 data from Spring administration will be used to determine new performance standards • Performance Standards will be retroactively applied to students that took the Spring 2015 math STAAR assessment • No STAAR retesting for grades 5 and 8

  3. Student Success Initiative • Districts will still have to provide some form of intervention
