  2. Which castle will you research?

  3. Research website To find the required information about your castle, start by visiting URL: http://www.intlistings.com/articles/2008/top-25-most-beautiful-castles-in-the-world/ If you can’t find everything here, then Encarta, then Google!

  4. Castle Profile Name of castle Location (country, city/town) on a map. Age of the castle (when it was built) Original owners, family history of castle Architectural style of castle and special features of castle. Interesting stories about the castle. Famous people who have lived in the castle. Current use of the castle (is it still there?). Your rating (out of 10) for the castle. Presented on an A4 piece of cardboard, with a clear heading and neat/creative presentation. Should be presented like a travel brochure.

  5. Castle Quiz As part of a quiz/game for learning about castles, you are to create 5 questions/facts about your castle from information included in your A4 poster.

  6. All done? You may like to conduct your own research about a different castle. Because this is an extension task you can present your work however you wish.
