OJIBWA CLOTHING • Ojibwa women war long dresses with removable sleeves. • Ojibwa men war breech cloths and leggings. • Everybody war moccasins on their feet and cloaks or ponchos in bad weather. • Later the Chippewa adapted European costumes such as cloth bothers and jackets decorating them with fancy beadwork

  3. Where Ojibwa Migrated • Ojibwa migrated from Atlantic coast to Michigan about 1,000 years ago what is now Sault STE. Marie.

  4. Where they lived • They lived in wigwams • They lived in tepees

  5. Ojibwa facts • Older brother means Ojibwa. • They did a lot of fishing. • Spoke different languages. • They lived in wigwams. • They would hunt animals. • They make there homes out of grass and tree bark. • They start to make there houses out of four long sticks.

  6. Where Ojibwa got there water • They got there water from water fountains. • They got there water from rivers. • They got there water from lakes.
