Safety 24h Project • Common understanding for an OHS project • Opening seminar November 2001 • Company and site projects; 200 people in 41 company level projects • Topics: management and indicators, attitudes, reporting and research, risk assesment • Managed together by CIF and CWU; horizontal co-operation between company WG´s • End report and closing seminar November 2002 • European Agency for Safety and Health at Work Award 2003 • Seminars 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 AK/23.3.2006 www.chemind.fi

Responsible Care (RC) Agreement between CIF and Trade Union Organisations in 2003 • Established at highest level between CIF and all three Trade Unions (blue collar, white collars) • Implementation by an advisory body • Decisions by CIF • Safety 24h under the umbrella of RC • RC widens the scope of co-operation from OHS to all EHS issues AK/23.3.2006 www.chemind.fi
