  2. This poem is about the author saying lawyers are liars and they are annoying like chattering birds. • It is a children’s poem but it has a more of a serious message to it. • The poem is just a metaphor comparing lawyers to birds. Is it true that tiny lawyers     Hatch in puddles in the spring?I plan to capture orioles     And teach them how to sing; But if they can't, the lawyers,     Dressed in tiny feathered suits,Could congregate in sheltered spots     And play on tiny flutes.

  3. These two lines are setting up what the poem is going to be about comparing lawyers to birds. • Get all the lawyers together and teach them to speak the truth and not sputter nonsense. • If they don’t learn how to speak the truth he will put them in a room until they figure out and fix there problems. Is it true that tiny lawyers     Hatch in puddles in the spring?I plan to capture orioles     And teach them how to sing; But if they can't, the lawyers,     Dressed in tiny feathered suits,Could congregate in sheltered spots     And play on tiny flutes.

  4. Is it true that tiny lawyers hatch in puddles in the spring? – Metaphor – saying that lawyers are like birds and hatch in the spring. • I plan to capture oriolesand teach them how to sing;. --Metaphor-- he saying what he is going to do but to lawyers. • The lawyers, Dressed in tiny feathered suits -Imagery- Makes a picture of tiny lawyers in little feathered suits running around. • Could congregate in sheltered spots and play on tiny flutes.– Hyperbole – because there’re not going to play on flutes it’s a exaggeration. Is it true that tiny lawyers     Hatch in puddles in the spring?I plan to capture orioles     And teach them how to sing; But if they can't, the lawyers,     Dressed in tiny feathered suits,Could congregate in sheltered spots     And play on tiny flutes.
