  6. Identify The Project / Event Needs analysis. Requests from public. Personal goals. Requests from other Organisations.

  7. Choosing The Project / Event • Propose Project / Event to Board of Directors. • Directors agree to take proposal to Club membersfor approval. • Project coordinator proposes project toClub members. • Club members vote yes or no. • Approval can only be achieved by amajority of aquorum i.e. 50% + 1 of the members in attendance. • Remember • A quorumis 50% + 1 of the total membership ofthe club.

  8. Create Action Plans Identify the project / event and date. Identify the desired outcome. Create action plan to achieve the outcome. Step by step plan to achieve goal.

  9. Choose Team Leader Identify the project / event and date. Identify the desired outcome. Identify the best Leader for the task. Recruit the Team Leader. Assist with forming the Team.

  10. Manage Your Action Plans Identify each step in the project / event. Identify the desired outcome of each step. Identify the responsible Lion for the task. Identify task completion dates. Review each task by date. Set project review dates and reschedule as necessary.

  11. Review Successes / Failures Set date for review on completed project. Keep notes for future referral. Be honest and open. Hold review in friendly, positive atmosphere. Do not blame, remember ………………………….“To Build Up and Not Destroy.”
