  1. AP European History Video: Assigned: 16 May 2012 Due: 4 June 2012

  2. Part I: Topic: • You must choose a topic that connects to European History within the time period provided. • If you desire to work outside the period – please see Mr. Chmiola • Once you pick your topic – it is yours – You will have to work with it – Choose Wisely

  3. Part II: Instructions: • 1. Choose a topic from the time period 1870 – 2010). This topic must connect to European History & your presentation must show this connection. It cannot be the same topic as your Challenge Report • II. Using either Photo Story or Movie Maker for Windows or iMovie for Mac – compose a video with at least fifteen (15) slides for your presentation • You are required to have a Title Slide – your name, topic and date as well as Source(s) slides. These are in addition to the required 15.

  4. III. Your podcast / video must include effects and transitions; voice-over narration and music that maintains the theme of your presentation. • IV. The presentation must flow smoothly. • V. The time minimum is 8-minutes and to exceed 12-minutes.

  5. PART III: PRESENTATION SCORING:

  6. i. Each slide (minimum of 15) @ 2 pts each = 30 pts. • ii. Each minute of presentation (minimum of 8-min) @ 10 pts = 80 pts. • iii. Music @ 10 pts. • iv. Effects – Transitions – Fades @ 10 pts. • v. Sources @ 10 pts. (At least (5) sources for your research of the topic & (5) sources for arts-maps-charts etc. • vi. Title / Introductory slide as per format @ 5 pts. • vii. Source(s) Slide(s) @ 5 pts. ** NOTE ** - For Each minute over 12-minutes you will lose 5 pts

  7. IV: Final Note: • Be Aware – I should have no questions for you after I have viewed your presentation. • It should be self-contained and all-inclusive. • If there is a problem – I will contact you and give you a chance to fix it. • This project replaces a Final Exam. – Make sure it works on either platform that you may produce it on.
