  1. 套筒聯軸器 套筒聯軸器結構簡單，製造方便 ，成本低，佔用徑向尺寸小，但是裝 配和拆卸都不方便。套筒聯軸器適用 於低速、輕載、工作平穩的連接。

  2. 夾殼聯軸器 也稱為開口套筒聯軸器或是 壓緊聯軸器。

  3. 凸緣聯軸器 構造簡單成本低，為最常用 之聯軸器，通常用於較大型的軸 (25mm以上)及高精密機械之迴轉 軸。

  4. 撓性聯軸器 彈性套柱銷聯軸器（Bushed pin type coupling）：利用有彈性套的銷來傳遞力矩，在軸向有撓性，有良好的動態特性。 萬向接頭：是連接兩根剛桿的接頭，兩剛桿在任何角度下均可運作，不過當傳動軸等速旋轉時，從動軸會有運動的變化。 爪形聯軸器（jaw coupling）：在聯軸器兩軸之間加入十字形的彈性體，增加撓性並減少振動。 湯普森聯軸器（Thompson coupling）：一種改良型的雙萬向接頭，可以在等速情形下傳遞轉矩。

  5. 彈性套柱銷聯軸器 廣泛應用于載荷不大，有電動機驅動的各種中、小功率傳動軸係中，如減速機、起重機、壓縮機、輸送機、紡織機、捲揚機、球磨機等 。
