Our Legacy To Do Amazing Things FLYING HIGH ON SAFETY, RELIABILITY AND ACCURACY CSC worked closely with Federal Aviation Administration to develop 1.2 Million Lines of code for Air Traffic Control System providing safety, reliability and accuracy every time a flight takes off and lands. • PROTECTING ENDANGERED DESERT TORTOISES • CSC’s environmental scientists help protect endangered desert tortoises in the United States, so that more of these desert denizens will live to their maximum age of about 100 years. PIONEERING BUOYANCY TO SATELLITE COMMUNICATIONS CSC designed and deployed a bouy-based Satellite Communications System for the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration - A first of its kind to be operating hundreds of miles from land. • FIRST ON THE WALL STREET • In 1963 CSC became the first software company to be listed on the American Stock Exchange and in 1968 became the first independent IT Services firm to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) BUILIDING AN EYE TO SEE LIGHT YEARS AHEAD IN DEEP SPACE CSC co-developed much of the software that enables the Hubble Space Telescope to take spectacular photographs that making deep space exploration a reality. • AUTOMATING EUROPE • CSC built Europe’s first Automated Teller Machine System for Générale de Banque • ADVANTAGE NATIONAL SECURITY VIA STEALTH TECHNOLOGY • CSC designed, installed and maintained the software and hardware the Air Force used to test the most technologically complex B-2 Stealth Bomber military aircraft, providing a cutting edge to national security.
