  4. “Unmerited divine assistance given humans For their regeneration or sanctification.”

  5. Discussion Guide: 1. What is Paul’s point in listing sins in (1 Corinthians 6:9)? All sinners are in need of a Savior. All of us need God’s grace.

  6. Discussion Guide: 2. How do you get caught up in some sins in society and fail to recognize sin in your own life?

  7. Discussion Guide: • 3. How is (1 Corinthians 6:11) a picture of grace? • You were washed in the Blood of Christ • You were sanctified • You were justified • You have the Spirit of God within

  8. Discussion Guide: 4. What do (1 Corinthians 6:12) and (2 Corinthians 3:17) teach about living under grace? We have freedom in Christ with restraint.

  9. Discussion Guide: 5. Does everyone have the opportunity to experience the grace of God no matter what they are doing or have done? Why?

  10. Discussion Guide: 6. According to (Galatians 5:13) what should be the result of God’s grace in our lives? Because of God’s grace we are to love and serve others.

  11. Discussion Guide: 7. Do you tend to be a person who extends grace or tends to judge others?

  12. Discussion Guide: • 8. What do the following passages teach about sharing love and serving others? • (Matt. 5:43-48) Return good for evil • (Romans 12:17-21) Leave judging to God and extend grace • (Phil. 2:1-8) Put others interests ahead of your own

  13. Discussion Guide: 9. With whom in your life are you extending grace?

  14. Discussion Guide: 10. How should we live with others being free in Christ? We should live for others like Christ would do. (1 Peter 2:16-17)

  15. Discussion Guide: 11. So how do you live in the world but not of the world?

  16. Grace-Filled Living • Christian values are different from the worlds. • Do not expect unbelievers to be able to judge spiritual matters. • A Christian’s citizenship is not in this world. • The Christians responsibilities take priority over his/her rights.

  17. “THE DOOR” By Sam Shoemaker I admire the people who go way in. But I wish they would not forget how it was before they got in. Then they would be able to help the people who have not yet even found the door; Or the people who want to run away again from God. You can go in too deeply, and stay in too long, And forget the people outside the door. As for me, I shall take my accustomed place, Near enough to God to hear Him, and know He is there, But not so far from men as not to hear them, And remember they are there, too.

  18. Where? Outside the door- Thousands of them, millions of them. But - more important for me - One of them, two of them, ten of them. Whose hands I am intended to put on the latch. So I shall stay by the door and wait For those who seek it “I had rather be a door-keeper…” So I stay near the door.
