  1. Go Rock n Roll with these Indian Rock Bands According to me Rock n Roll is the only genre of music that has no haters. From the 1950s to date the craze for Rock n Roll has only gone upwards and has never seen a low in terms of popularity. With this popularity and fast-growing fame, Rock n Roll also came to India and it received a positive response from everyone. Even today, the younger generation has a soft spot for rock music in their hearts. Due to the fame and popularity that rock music was getting many new bands started to emerge. Many people who were talented and were interested in rock music formed their​​rock bands in Pune​, Kolkata, Chennai, Madras, and many more cities. In this blog, I will be mentioning some famous rock bands that originated in various Indian Cities. Annhad-The Band:​ this band was formed in the month of December 2013 to create music for all. Annhad is a seven-member band that performs Sufi music and Bollywood medleys. They also call themselves ‘Multi-Genre’. The band is one of the most famous ​rock bands in New Delhi​ and has performed in almost every corner of India. The members of the band are professionals and are trained in Indian Classical music as well as western-style music. The band is open to performing outside Delhi as well. Usually, their performance is of seventy to ninety minutes. Mist:​ One of the most well-known ​rock bands in Mumbai​, Mist is a band of two members namely Vaibhav Sharma and Shikhar Gupta. Vaibhav is a trained professional in Indian and Western vocal Music and was trained under Ghulam Qadir Niazi Sahab. His work was broadcasted on Radio One and he was also featured on NDTV, RSJ, and National Dailies. Whereas Shikhar Gupta plays the guitar and is also a sound engineer. He also has an interest in production. He has received many scholarships from ESP Guitars. He studied at Musicians Institute in LA and has worked with many Hollywood artists as well. The band Mist usually performs Hindi Pop Rock Music. Invisible Strings:​ This band young yet talented musicians have established themselves as one of the famous ​rock bands in Kolkata​. This brand has a very unique and authentic style of performing. The band can perform in Bengali, Punjabi, Hindi as well as English. Invisible Strings is a band of seven members and their lead vocalist Shubhankar has a very natural and innocent tone. The band creates

  2. a magical atmosphere whenever they perform. Their versions of patriotic songs depict the love that they have for their Motherland. They have performed in many clubs, restaurants, college fests, festivals, and many other events. MotherRoot:​ A band that was formed in 2014 and is still among the best ​rock bands in Bangalore​. The band states that they are highly inspired by the Blues Rock of the 1960s. MotherRoots is such an energetic band that it makes their audience go insane and they start jumping up and down to the beats of the band.
