  2. The Difference Earthquakes are vibrations or tremors that shake the Earth, volcanoes are fissures or vents in the Earth which allow molten lava and gasses to escape out onto the Earth's surface. Earthquakes are vibrations or tremors in the ground that are caused by the build up of pressure. This causes the earth's crust to warp, storing energy. When the stress becomes to large the Earth's crust fractures or a pre-existing fault slips. 1. Earthquakes and volcanoes are found in hot country's because the hot air pushes just enough force to start an earthquake or a eruption of a volcano.

  3. Do we get them in UK ? We DO NOT get earthquakes and volcanoes in UK. We don’t get earthquakes,volcanoes in UK because The UK is not located near a coat border or a layer hotspot! As for large earthquakes, these also tend to occur at plate boundaries and as we have stated above, the UK isn't located near one.
