  2. One of the most common issues that usually PC users face is a slow boot time. It happens when too many programs starts loading at the startup time. Moreover, you will also find your Kaspersky software gets slow at the startup time, in such case you need to disable the Kaspersky to load at the start up. Luckily, disabling a program at start-up is made easy by the System Configuration Utility.

  3. There are some point to consider such as, do not forget to load Kaspersky when you want to use it. As you've chosen to stop Kaspersky at start-up, it will not automatically load. You'll need to launch the program each time you turn on the computer so that it will continue to protect your PC.

  5. Step-1 Click "Start" then "Run."

  6. Step-2 • Type "msconfig" minus the quotes and click "OK." The System Configuration Utility will then appear.

  7. Step-3 • Click the "Startup" tab on the System Configuration Utility window. • Navigate to "C:\Program Files\Kaspersky."

  8. Step-4 • Click the box next to "Kaspersky Antivirus" to unselect it and then click "OK"

  9. Step-5 • Close System Configuration Utility by clicking the red "X" at the top right of the screen.

  10. Step-6 • Restart the computer, when the computer reboots, the System Configuration Utility will load. 

  11. Step-7 Click the box next to "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" and then click "OK" to keep the utility from running each time you turn on the computer.
