  2. Novobuzhie – land, praised by labour. Steppe that became native land and gave life to sunny Novobuzhie. This land is famous for industrious people, picturesque nature, rich fertile land, natural resources, historical and cultural places of interest. Fertile soils assist in growing harvests of grain crops, sunflower and other agricultural cultures. There are some minefields of granite which serve as potential for creation new job places, budget augment and development of mining industry. There are conditions for organization of near-term and long-term rest. Local authority of the district create attractive investment conditions for all who have a desire to finance development of industrial brunches and infrastructure. With the help of joint efforts we will overcome all the difficulties and will make Novobuzhie really developed economically.   3. Novobuzkiy district Foundedin в 1922. Situatedin Eastern part of Mykolayiv region. Distict boundaries:borders with Bashtanskiy, Kazankoskiy, Elanetskiy, Bereznegovatskiy districts of Mykolayiv region, Ustinovskiy and Bobrinetskiy districts of Kirovograd region . Occupies the area of1240 sq. km., that is 5,1 % from all the territory of the region. Centers of population– 58 (1 town and 57 villages). District centre: town Noviy Bug, the distance to Mykolayiv is 105 km.

  4. Infrastructure District’s infrastructure is on a high level. Distributing facilities consist of: 225 shops, total acres - 11,6 thous. sq.m., 30 catering objects, 2 markets, total acres 1,9 hectares for 966 trade places. Financial credit network of the district consists of the following branch banks: «Raiffeisen Bank Aval», public corporation «Oshchadbank» , «UkrSibbank», «Privatbank».

Social and cultural spheres • Education • - 26 preschool institution; • - 24 comprehensive schools and 1 gymnasium; • centre of profiled education; • boarding school; • - Novobuzskiy pedagogical college of Mykolayiv State National University; • - Novobuzskiy college of Mykolayiv State Agrarian University. Health protection - central district hospital; - 4 village outpatient department; - 24 obstetrical departments. Culture - district palace of culture; - 26 clubs; - 22 libraries; - school of arts and 3 departments in the countryside; - cinema and public museum.

  6. Gasification and water supply Water-supply 15, 5 % of population aggregates of the district are provided with central water-supply. The length of water-supply networks is 428,2 km, and also in the district there are 57 boreholes and 1 water cleaning construction. Gasification: The length of gas-distributing networks in the district is 202,0 km, including: - heavy pressure- 83,3 km, - average pressure - 34,1 km, - low pressure - 84,6 km. 13 population aggregates from 58 are gasified. The percentage of gasification – 22,0 %, including – countryside – 21,0 %.

Nature and resourse potential • Water resources:1236 ha, including: • Inhul River – 21 ha; • 40 ponds (630 ha), 24 pondsare suitable for fish farming; • artificial watercourses – 33 ha; • SofiyivskyyReservoir (552 ha). • Agricultural lands:112,800ha. • - arable land– 94,800ha; • - perennial plantations – 80 a; • - pastures – 14,400 ha. Woodlands: 5,800 ha, including: 2,300 ha – shelter belts. 5,500 haare referred to the significance of flood control and nature reserves. 60 a – state preserved hole “Chabanka”. Minerals: 9 deposits of minerals presented by granite, gneiss, sand, clay, and gruss.

Competitive advantage of the area: • successful geographical location relatively the regional center of Nikolayev and major markets; • favorable structure for agricultural production of ground: 112.8 thousand hectares of farmland, in particular specific weight of arable land - 84%; • technical equipment of the agricultural sector; • availability of stored industrial and agricultural premises in the territory of the district; • tourist attraction: lots of places suitable for green tourism, the availability of forest plantations, memorable and historic sites, conservation areas; • ecologically clean area; • availability of natural resources of state and local values: sand, clay, limestone, granite deposits, availability of natural resources; • advanced infrastructure.

  13. Industry District’s industry is represented by following branches: -Mining industry – 95%; -Processing industry – 5%. Volume of released industrial production(work, services) for the term from January to September 2010 – 6441,7 thousand UAH, which is 0,05% of average district’s rate. In general volume of district’s manufacture industry’s portion amounts to 30%

Agricultural The main directions of Agriculture Crop Science - Crops - Industrial crops • Animal husbandry • Large cattle • Pigs • Poultry farming • Hen Spring wheatandwinter wheat, spring and winter barley are suitable forgrowing in climatic conditions. Introduction and development of drip irrigation provides an opportunity to grow up vegetables (cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage) and various fruits. In animal husbandry, preference is given to dairy and meat cattle-breeding, production of eggs. The share of agriculture sector in general implementation of the district is - 70% .

  16. Basic agricultural enterprises «Agro – 1» Basic specialization: growing of forage, stock-raising and processing of agricultural products. A strong private base is formed, where the best standards of technique are presented. There was adopted the irrigation under industrial crops. Private entrepreneur Korenda V.A. Basic specialization: growing and processing of cereal crops, making of sunflower oil, ecologically clean briquettes. Modern automated and modernized base. A product output from 100 kilogram of sunflower is: sunflower oil– 30%, mill cake – 35% and 35% is a husk, which is a raw material for making of briquettes for heating.

  18. Experience of bringing in of investments • For 9 months of the year 2010 enterprises and organizations of district were drawn 9397 thousand UAH of capital investments in actual prices. The main part is made by the internal investments (personal funds) of enterprises of district, which are directed on purchasing of new machinery, equipment (combines, cars, tractors, other agricultural equipment). • The main enterprises-investors of the district: • Private-leasing agricultural enterprise “Gold Field” • Private-leasing enterprise “Victoria” • Limited liability company “Sofia-granite” • Sofievska area of public limited company “Mykytivskiygranitic quarry” • Small private enterprise “Silgospargo” • During 2010 realization of 2 investment projects of social direction is carried out in a district, namely : • The reconstruction of the system of water-cleaning of the sewages in the city New Bug of the Mykolaivskiyregion, by setting of sewage collectors with a carrying capacity from 100 to 500 m3per hour, which total value is 1388 thousand UAH. • «The heightened attention to the problems of people with the limited physical possibilities» total value of which is1055,0 thousand UAH.

  21. Opening of the granular products packing department Project initiator is a small-scale private enterprise Agricultural agronomy (Selkhozagro). General capacity of the necessary investments is 30,0 thousand $USA Target usage of the investment funds: equipment acquisition and installation Project payback term is 3 years
