  2. Setting • Ponyboy ran away to windriexville with johnny because johnnycomit murder to a soc, and ponyboy is running away because darry hit him and nobody in his family has ever hit him before. They live in a abandoned church for a week and then Dally came to visit them. Then after they went to Dairy Queen and came back the church was on fire and they saved some kids and are forgiven for murder.

  4. Conflict • Ponyboy gets home late and Darry gets mad at him because it was 2 in the morning he said ” one more hour and I would have called the cops”. They started to yell and woke Soda up and Darry got mad because he was trying to defend Ponyboy and slapped ponyboy, everyone was shocked it was the first time he was hit , so he ran out the house and told Johnny they were running away and then they stayed at the park to cool down. Then some Socs came and Johnny killed one named Bob.

  5. Summary of Plot • Ponyboy is a Greaser and Socs jump greasers when they were alone. Ponyboy coming home when he gets jumped • Ponyboy comes home late and Darry gets mad and slaps him, then their all in shock because nobodys ever slapped him before. • Ponyboy and Johnny get hurt when they save some kids from a burning church and ends up in the hospital, a rumble started a few days later 7:00 and the greasers won. The deal was if the greasers won Socs cant come to their territory.

  6. Theme • Ponyboy wakes up in the lot and finds out he fell asleep, he tries to hurry home
