  5. American teenagers today are utilizing the interactive capabilities of the Internet as they create and share their own media creations….

  6. Fully half of all teens and 57% of teens who use the Internet could be considered Content Creators

  7. They have created a blog, wiki or webpage, posted original artwork, photography, stories or videos online

  8. Millions of amateur reporters now have their own digital printing press. They are editors who blog.( Pein, 2005)
