  3. What? In the article it didn’t say what he found out or what he discovered. But it did give a lot about what he did and how he did it.

  4. When? Timeline Born March 21, 1927. His bachelor's degree was awarded {to him}in 1949. His award for Ph. D to him in 1953. Became a fellow of the Carnegie Institution 1953. Became a research Assistant in 1955. Became a staff member in 1957. He joined the staff of the Max Planck for Astrophysics in 1983.

  5. Where? Everything happened in New York City & Germany.
