  9. AMIE- steps to acquire • Registration as ST/T • Apply for Section A Exam 6 months • Appear for Section B Exam 2.5 years Total 3 years

Break up of Enrollment Fee • Registration Fee: Rs. 600/- • Entrance Fee: Rs. 200/- • Composite Subscription: Rs.1,550/- • Membership pack & study material: Rs.2,800/- • Identity Card: Rs. 150/- • Prospectus & ST/T Form: Rs. 500/- • Total: Rs.5,800/- • Entrance fee Rs.200/- is waived off to member of student chapter in polytechnic if he apply within 2 year.

Membership Pack • All newly enrolled ST / T members are supplied with a 'Membership Pack' which contains • General information about the Institution • Rules and Syllabi of the Institution Examinations • Examination Application Form along with other related forms • Study Material for the following 4 subjects : • i)   Fundamentals of Design and Manufacturing   (AN 201/AD 301) • ii)  Material Science and Engineering   (AN 202/AD 302) • iii) Computing and Informatics   (AN 203/AD 303) • iv)  Society and Environment   (AN 204/AD 304)

  23. Condition for Passing-Section A: Diploma stream Min. grade required for passing “C” in all 4 subjects. In last attempts after 6+2 years, if min. C in 3 subjects, 4th subject can be “D” for passing.

  25. TIME LIMIT FOR CARRYING FORWARD EXEMPTIONS A candidate shall be required to pass the Institution Examinations within a specific period as mentioned hereunder: Section A    :    6 Years Section B    :    6 Years
