Integration • The main goal of the integration of statistical data bases was to assure, that services offered by official statistics will be continuously available through improving access to the information already gathered in many distributed data bases. Concept of integration of survey results At the concept level the following main activities were assumed: • Integration of survey results • Subject mater – through unique definition of terms and classifications used for documentation of statistical surveys, • Physical – through putting maximum set of results in one integrated system, • Automatization of processes followed the surveys – developed gradually, in optimal way for a given time. The goals of Data Warehouse creation • To facilitate analysis and secondary surveys based on distributed data sources through disseminationof the results of different reports from one place, • To create foundation for commonly accessible data bases as natural extension of data bases accessible for statisticians, • To disseminate data efficiently for permanent users including EUROSTAT, OECD and other international organizations, • To elaborate efficient methods to secure data – as well from damaging as fromno authorized access.
