  1. Formación de la URSS La URSS se estableció en diciembre de 1922 como una federación de repúblicas socialistas soviéticas integrada por Rusia, Ucrania, Bieolorusia y Transcaucasia (Georgia, Azerbaiyán y Armenia)con capital en Moscú. En 1924 se adhirieron Uzbekistán, Turkmenistán y Kirguistán y en 1929 Tadzikistán.

  2. Se trataba de un Estado plurinacional y multiétnico que equivalía prácticamente a la extensión del antiguo Imperio de los zares.Estaba regida por un solo partido(PCUS), establecido en cada una de las repúblicas. Hasta 1945 la URSS constituyó el único estado comunista del mundo
