  1. 1947 • Great British created two states: India and Pakistan, causing about 400,000 deaths, 13 million refugees, 75,000 cases of taking women from both sides. • Many children died and were taken to be slaves. Pakistan Child Slaves Pakistan Refugees

  2. 1947-1948 • The first India-Pakistan war over Kashmir take place • Many children had to participate in the war and be soldiers. Young Pakistan Child Soldier

  3. 1958 • On 27 October, a military coup places General AyubKhan in power. • The children were not relief that the leader changed, and were living with fear. Afraid Child General Ayub Khan with his wife

  4. 1965 • Second war between India and Pakistan over Kashmir and Afghanistan take place. • Children had to live in poor conditions and drink dirty water because of the war. Soldiers Hiding Dirty Water that children drink

  5. 1973-1977 • Civil war erupts in Balochistanbetween the Pakistani army and an array of nationalist and separatist armed groups including the BLA, BRA and BaluchIttihad. • Innocent children are dying and getting hurt because of greedy adults. Balochistan Chief Minister NawabAslamRaisan

  6. 1988 • Civilian governance is restored after Zia’s death in a plane crash. Benazir Bhutto, daughter of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, wins the general election as the head of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) • The children just wishes that the war will end soon. Benazir Bhutto

  7. 2001 • Pakistan joins the US-led “War on Terror”, giving support to the Taliban and sending Pakistani troops to the border with Afghanistan. • Innocent children, especially in Middle East, parts of Asia and Africa, Europe and North America, lost their family, had to be refugees, die, and live in a hard condition.
