  3. How would you explain what an adventure is to a friend? On my signal, you will turn and talk to your partner to complete the following stem An adventure is ______________________.

  4. If you were to write an adventure story, what would it be about and where would it take place? On my signal, turn and talk with your partner to complete the following stem My adventure story would be about _________________________. It would take place ____________________________.

  5. Objective: To identify similarities across texts. Today we are going to reread the poem Searching’s End. As I read the story I would like for you to listen and see if it sounds like the story we read yesterday about the baby seal. I will read it once and I would like for you to join me in reading the second time.
