My Weekend in the Garden. Last Saturday my family and I were busy in the garden. We were working in the vegetable garden. In my vegetable garden we have lettuce, tomatoes, squash, potatoes and many other lovely vegetables.

  1. My Weekend in the Garden

  2. Last Saturday my family and I were busy in the garden. We were working in the vegetable garden.

  3. In my vegetable garden we have lettuce, tomatoes, squash, potatoes and many other lovely vegetables.

  4. In the morning, my husband, John, lifted up the net and looked at the fruit on the raspberry canes. He weeded around the plants and he checked the net for holes.

  5. After that, John worked in the potato garden. He dug out the weeds.

  6. Carla, John and I also weeded the raised garden beds.

  7. Finally we planted our seedlings. We planted pumpkins and capsicums. I hope they will grow.

  8. Working in the garden with my family is not only fun but is a good time to enjoy each other and laugh together.
