  2. Character traits • The theme is a boy named can that is a teenager that stays in school until his name is Kelly and he is afraid of some kids cause he is selling drugs. And he is smoking and he is only 14 years old.

  3. The theme of the book • The problem in the story is when he is poor and his mom is poor she works long hours and she leaves her son home and she has a divorce from his dad and they have and they and he is selling drugs for money and they are not really good relationship.

  4. The conflict • I think that he is the one that he is worried about his dad because he has another woman and he does not want to go to his dad. His mom is sending him to his dad for the summer to spend time with him and they are worried about him going to jail and his mom said that she was going to punished him for selling drugs and he is not going to his dad. That my main conflict.

My thinking • My thinking about the book he started that is because of is friend named Kelly he started to sell drugs and he was worried that his mom was going to lose the house then she started to drink and he was selling drugs for money and he started to pay bills and started to and his mom was confused about the money he was getting money

  6. My essential question • how do particular events in our lives affect the people we become: people still sell drugs and it is bad for us for kids because some kids well grow up they do drugs and it will keep goin on for a long time.

  7. My final answer • My answer is that he needs to stop selling drug and get a job and make money.
