Assignment #2Original Business Concepts • Task 2: • In 2 minutes, present 1 concept • You may have the benefit of your concept projected on the screen (arrive early to setup) • You may not let the concept “speak” for itself • You may bring prototypes and props • You should avoid using index cards • In 2 minutes, Q&A with the “sharks”

Assignment #2Original Business Concepts • Task 3: • You’re the “sharks” if you’re not presenting • Before/During each presentation • Judge the concept based on the evaluation sheet • Take notes on what’s not clear to you • After each presentation • Ask shark-like questions: what problem do you solve? who are the competitors, substitutes, etc.? have you tested the concept?What’s your core competency (value propositions)? do you know the numbers? • I will evaluate your evaluations and questions

Are you ready? • Sign up for your timeslot today! • 2/17 Mon.: 10 (test run, benefit of the doubt) • 2/19 Wed.: 10 (special guest: Mr. Lops, Deputy District Director, Small Business Administration) • 2/21 Fri.: 12 (no mercy) • 2/24 Mon.: 12 (you have 1 extra week, it has to be perfect) • Attendance is a must!!! • Monday 2/17 presenters should submit early
