  6. School of Extended Learning • Enrollment Growth: • New international students on campus this fall increased from 172 in FS 2007 to 199 in FS 2008. Thirty three of these students are at the undergraduate level. • Distance education students have increased from 518 in FS 2007 to 603 in FS 2008, including 136 students at the Engineering Education Center in St. Louis (103 last year).

Office of Sponsored Programs FY09 activities through the end of September and a year-over-year comparison are as follows: Proposals awarded in total dollars: $21.96M (up 80.1%) Number of proposals awarded and amendments: 137 (up 63.1%) Proposals submitted in total dollars: $43.44M (up 50.3%) Number of proposals submitted: 174 (up 41.5%) Research expenditures: $10.4M (up 10.6%) F&A recovered: $1.9M (up 30.8%)
