Our clients bought this 1950s brick home with a partially finished basement. The basement remodeling the previous owners had conducted was of low quality and not functional. After working with the owners to develop a basement remodeling design that would suit their needs.

About us Keeverand Associates, Inc., Seattle Remodeling and General Contractors was incorporated in 1977 and has built hundreds of custom commercial and residential projects around the Puget Sound region. We are Seattle Remodeling and General Contractors and the majority of our work has been in the King county metro areas. We have also performed general contracting services all over the state including: Hood Canal, Hat Is., Chelan, Yakima, Cle Elum.

North Seattle Basement Remodeling Project Some note worthy aspects of this Seattle Basement finishing project were: We were able to determine early on that the plumbing waste lines would need to be pumped. We determined that there was water coming up from under the slab in one corner during heavy rain events and designed and installed a drainage system. An existing window in the concrete wall was enlarged to meet egress requirements and the window well upgraded for egress as well. HVAC ductwork and plumbing lines were re-routed and or soffitted for a completely finished basement. Plumbing re-piping was performed to upgrade the plumbing system. All walls were insulated and new energy efficient vinyl windows were installed. The owners wanted to self perform some of the easier tasks to save money which we accommodated to help keep their basement remodeling budget in line.
