CNG ROADMAP IN THAILAND Oil crisis (2004-2005) • Projected Oil Demand in Thailand • Current Oil Demand at 0.7 Million Barrels per day • Mostly Oil Demand is Diesel (47%) follow by Gasoline (18%) • Transportation is a Major Sector of Oil Consume 0.5 Mil Barrels per day (67%of Total Oil Demand) • Oil Demand expected to grow at 5% to 1.1 Million Barrels per day by 2013 CNG • New Substitute Energy • Resource available in Thailand • Current gas pipe over 1,330 Km. and projected to expand to 2,140 Km. • Price 1/3 less expensive to other energy (Government support) • Ceiling price of CNG not over US$ 0.25/kg.
